Thirty two year old Lindsay Clear lives in Upper Hutt and draws inspiration from the broader Wellington environment. He has been drawing all his life and seven years ago began painting, starting with oils and more recently acrylics. Acrylics enable him to achieve the finish that he likes, a semi-realistic style of painting, half way between a photo and a painting.
While Lindsay is well known for his landscapes, he has an interest in painting a broad range of subject matter, including pets, portraits and science fiction.
